3.64 Release Candidate is available for download and testing. Please provide feedback with any problems you find, thanks.

Besides the usual improvements and World updates this release includes:

A new group system
Room events
Improved prefedit and cedit
Added message editor for combat messages
New debug toggle

Bugs squashed:
Fixed a MAJOR duping issue.
another copyover issue that resulted in dying character respawning at corpse.
an issue where a PC could be remembered after dying. (Thanks Zusuk)
an issue with hedit that prevented editing of certain helpfiles.
a small bug with colour codes in interpreter.c.
crash bug in oasis_lists.c caused by buffer overflows.
issue with certain clients that were adding extra new-lines.
crash bug in improved editor.

Thanks go mainly to Vatiken for another great release and to everyone that has provided feedback to help us continue to improve the codebase. Thanks again, and please keep the feedback coming.

Speef stopped by TBA after giving it a test and said everything looked good. Though he did mention that he turned off -Wunused-but-set-variable to make it compile warning free. Thanks Speef.

Yeah I turned off that warning flag myself to make it compile clean.

I actually wasn't able to register a forum account yesterday because the captcha thing wasn't working- works today, though.

I haven't found any problems yet- it compiled fine, and I've been doing some player stuff and some builder stuff on the new build with no issues. I may do a patch to get rid of those unused variables after work.

Wasn't able to register a forum account yesterday because the captcha thing wouldn't load.

The new RC compiled nicely for me, and seems to be working fine for all the player and builder stuff I've been doing.

I may untar a clean copy of the code tonight after work and fix those compiler warnings instead of suppressing them. (My first copy is already slightly hacked up; I tend to do that.)
