I recall playing on a mud with two chars, "Ki" and "Kiara" who frequently played together (they were boy/girlfriend in RL).
If I "tell ki stuff" should it go to one or the other, do you think?
What about "tell k stuff"? What if Ki was invisible at the time?
But sure, there's no code-related issues to prevent you from adding both "tell monster got your buddy, you're next" and "tell k wanna join the party?". And the change should be relatively simple. Just think it through first. This is the "game design" part of coding.
