Any chance that your patch might be garbled? This part doesn't seem to be part of fight.c but it's in the section for the patch for fight.c. I found it in interpreter.c. ? Want to ask before I break anything over here...

Yes, there is a inordinately high distribution of garbalation throughout most of my contributions.

Fortunately for this one, just ignore the pieces from interpreter.c.
I've updated the patch and spoiler.

The reason (if you're interested) is when I made the diff, it wasn't over a fresh copy of tba so I manually went through and deleted the parts irrelevant to the corpse snippet. As it turns out it would have been quicker to start over haha.. .. .
