I never advertise for TBA as much as I should. We are always looking for people to help improve the tbaMUD codebase and that includes everything from coders to builders to testers. I started TBA because I was rather fed up with the player drama involved in live MUDs and I wanted to help improve the MUDding community. With the help of numerous people I think we've done that and will continue to do so for a long time to come.

So if you are looking for something to do, or are just between MUDs, stop by and perhaps you too can give back to this great community.

Positions:
Trigger Master - We are always looking to add more trigs for others to emulate, especially the new player attachable trigs.
Builders - Of course this is what we do, teach builders. But if your work is good enough it could be included in the tbaMUD codebase.
Staff - Builders that have proven their competence can become staff and help teach others.
Quest Master - With the new quest editor not nearly enough zones have quests.
Social Master - I added about 100 socials a few years back and they haven't been touched since.
Master tester - We do have a player test port on 4000 that is the development port. The entire World needs testing for bugs/ideas/typos

Those are a few off the top of my head but you could probably make up your own position if you are creative enough. We don't turn people away.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed over the years and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with everyone on future tbaMUD releases.

I have logged on to the test port a few times, and will continue to do so, in addition to working on my area. I think I am going to take a character in each class through all 31 levels on the test port and will report any bugs or typos I find. I still have a lot to learn before I am ready for any official position, but I am happy to help out any way I can. I am going to continue working on the builders port as well, albiet at a slow pace until my day job slows down a bit.

Should I report bugs and typos on the test port using the bug and typo comands, or should I do it here on the forums? I am not sure if any tbaMUD staff ever log into the test port and check those reports. I never see anyone else on that port when I am on there.

I check both. If it is just World clean up typos etc. post to the player port. If it is a more serious bug affecting a lot of people you can post it here too. I'll take feedback anyway people wish to provide it.
