Has anyone gotten mudlet to run on a linux desktop? It says that it's supposed to work on linux, but I have tried downloading the linux files and using them on several different distros and I haven't gotten it to work yet. I am now using MUSHclient with wine on my crunchbang linux system, and it works great.

Yeah, I use Mudlet on my Ubuntu system. The install was pretty straight forward going off their instructions if I remember correctly.

I tried installing it on Wary Puppy, and Fedora LXDE Spin with the same result. It appears to install correctly, but when I try to launch the program I get nothing. I just gave up and went back to MUSHclient, since that is what I'm used to anyway.

I'd look into getting it working as tbaMUD & Mudlet make an awesome combination with the ability to automatically install a MUD supplied custom GUI upon connection which significantly lowers the entry bar for new players, and opens the door for a unique & one of a kind game experience.

TinTin++ has been mentioned, but there's also Wintin.Net:

Which worked pretty well for me, but I haven't MUDded in a LONG time.

Real life keeps getting in the way. :(
