Question IP

Hi

having login attempts from someone all the time. I can't see the IP and they are not really connecting.


Is there a way to see it ? I need to ban the IP so I don't get hundreds of log in attempts.

All I see is like loosing descriptor without char or loosing connection.

Yes, we could log this as well - it's part of the descriptor-data. So alter the line from

mudlog(CMP, LVL_IMMORT, TRUE, "Losing descriptor without char.");

to

mudlog(CMP, LVL_IMMORT, TRUE, "Losing descriptor without char. host was %s", d->host);

Unfortunately the person’s DNS was to long to display so it ends with .n

Where can I make it display a few more characters ? People today have really long once
