Question Another crash bug

it crashes immediately after the password is entered - incorrect password also crashes it.
seems like it is passing "comm" to the perform_alias() function, and comm looks a bit messed up.

surely aliases would be skipped at the password prompt?

just a thought: does Ser have a valid alias file, and is it read/write-able ?

Is it a terrible thing that I'm giddy with excitement that this crashed, and that we have possible solutions? LOL!

Whisky, you mailed me with a possible code change. I'm thinking I'm going to wait for Thomas to take a look at this as well, do you mind? I know you wrote the clan code, I'm not doubting you. I'm just also in the popcorn mode. I'm learning so much!

Also - aliases are saved directly to the pfile so ignore that idea

You are quite right. I had been going over so many changes that I'd made that I confused who wrote the final, really cool clan code I put in. Apologies, was Thomas.
