Important Trouble brewing on the server.

Today I logged on to the tbamud server and found several key files to be "missing".
This is quite serious and I've contacted the support team at our hosting company.

Also, due to me making some extra backups of the forums, you might experience some locked tables when posting.
Please bear with me.

Extra backup of websites: done
Extra backup of database: done
Extra backup of home-directories: done

There will be a downtime on the server for migration of the vps to other hardware and a disk scan.

The maintenance is expected to take "several hours" - so the site/mud will be down for just as long.

So far, it looks as if this downtime will start tomorrow, during daytime GMT.

Ok, the site has been copied to a fresh server instance along with the mud, the subversion repo, etc.

Please let me know asap if things aren't working out as usual.

Post mortem: Disk failures were rapidly spreading. More and more parts of the disk were affected. So we moved servers (but kept the IP adress). Some file permissions might have become messed up during the move.

Yeah I saw how some of the newer posts suddnely disappeared, so I assumed you were doing your thing
