Adding racial start rooms

Adding racial start rooms was created by Nibiru
Hello, this has got me stumped.
I've updated the relevant sections of db.c, cedit.c, oasis.h, db.h,, structs.h, config.h, genwld.c and fight.c.
Recompiling did not generate any errors, there are no new warnings.
The rooms appear on the menu in cedit and I can update them and they appear to save.
On reboot the rooms revert to the original start room for 3 out of my 6 races,
When I create a new character to test, that character goes to the original mortal start room instead of the start room for their race.
What did I miss?

Is it supposed to be the room they login in every time they login, or only upon the initial creation of their character?
Depending on how exactly you're trying to make it work it might be trivial to do via trigedit rather than even needing to hard-code it.

These will be the rooms that they go to at creation, and when I dig further into the code I will be sending them to the racial start room, when they die, instead of the login menu so they can grab some food, water and a simple weapon to aid in corpse retrieval.
